基隆巿71歲高姓老翁因被房東趕出門，一時想不開，18日上午10時多不顧成功平交道遮斷器已放下、火車即將通過，竟執意往鐵軌上走。 看柵工陳添發趕緊舉手，示意一列由基隆開出正緩緩接近的電聯車停下，見老翁已被一旁的號誌段施工人員拉住，才放行火車。
